We finished a two-car garage in Long Beach in a single day with a polyaspartic flake system: a base coat, a full broadcast of Gravel flakes and a seal coat over the top.

This is a well-used garage, with tools, a kayak and sports gear stored on the walls, and we coated the floor around all of it. Polyaspartic cures fast enough for the whole system to go down in one day, so the garage was only out of use for a day.
Once the concrete was prepared, we laid a polyaspartic base coat and broadcast Gravel flakes across it until the whole floor was covered, carrying the flake along the base of the walls for a finished edge. When the base had cured, the loose flake was vacuumed off and a polyaspartic seal coat locked the rest in place.

The Gravel flake blend mixes gray, black and white chips, which gives the floor a speckled stone look and helps hide dust, tire marks and small spills between cleans. The flake also adds texture underfoot, so the floor has more grip than a plain coating.
